About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting an elderly gentleman with a traumatic brain injury in his own home. This is a well-established package requiring 24/7 support, with 2:1 support during waking hours and 1:1 support overnight. The client has some behaviours that challenge and reduced mobility, requiring patient, person‑centred support to promote safety, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with all aspects of personal care
- Administration of medication
- Meal preparation and nutritional support
- Supporting with social activities and community access
- Providing meaningful engagement and companionship
- Attending appointments and outings
- Supporting with mobility and transfers
- Working collaboratively as part of a 2:1 support team
- Following care plans and risk assessments to ensure safe, consistent support
About You:
- Previous experience supporting adults with complex needs, including brain injury
- Experience providing personal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis
Holiday Pay Information:
Our advertised PAYE rate includes 12.07% holiday pay. You have full flexibility over how this is paid: Take it weekly as part of your pay, or Accrue it separately and use it when you take time off. There is no expiry on accrued holiday pay – it is always available when you need it.
