About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting an elderly gentleman with a traumatic brain injury in his own home. This is a well-established package requiring 24/7 support, with 2:1 support during waking hours and 1:1 support overnight. The client has some behaviours that challenge and reduced mobility, requiring patient, person-centred support to promote safety, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting with all aspects of personal care
  • Administration of medication
  • Meal preparation and nutritional support
  • Supporting with social activities and community access
  • Providing meaningful engagement and companionship
  • Attending appointments and outings
  • Supporting with mobility and transfers
  • Working collaboratively as part of a 2:1 support team
  • Following care plans and risk assessments to ensure safe, consistent support

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience supporting adults with complex needs, including brain injury
  • Experience providing personal care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis

Holiday Pay Information

Our advertised PAYE rate includes 12.07% holiday pay. Take it weekly as part of your pay, or accrue it separately and use it when you take time off. There is no expiry on accrued holiday pay; it is always available when you need it.
