About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Enforcement Agents to cover Gloucester and the surrounding area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, proactive and hardworking Enforcement Agent to join an award-winning, nationwide enforcement company with employees working across England and Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting addresses within their local area to enforce Warrants and Liability Orders on behalf of clients, with the aim of securing payment of unpaid debts.
The role offers genuine flexibility, with you choosing your own working hours, alongside an attractive and competitive commission structure and enhanced invoicing model.
You will work closely with office-based colleagues while managing your own caseload and dealing directly with charge payers in a professional, ethical and empathetic manner.

About the Role
As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent, you will:
- Travel to various addresses within your local area to enforce Warrants and Liability Orders on behalf of clients
- Obtain payments towards unpaid debts
- Identify and assess the financial circumstances of charge payers
- Capture key income and financial information during visits
- Assist charge payers with completing income and expenditure forms and questionnaires where required
- Request payment in full (PIF) where appropriate
- Agree affordable repayment arrangements to help charge payers resolve their outstanding debts
- Identify and assess vulnerability and signpost individuals to appropriate support services where required
- Liaise with office-based colleagues regarding active cases
- Oversee payments received on cases allocated to you
- Handle cash payments and manage receipts and other required documentation
- Compile concise reports following visits
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately
- Take control of goods and remove goods where necessary
- Gather relevant intelligence regarding local demographics or a charge payers circumstances
- Report relevant information back to the client to assist with their reporting and casework
- Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times
- Comply with Data Protection legislation and, where appropriate, Freedom of Information requirements
- Carry out all enforcement activity lawfully and in accordance with relevant legislation
- Observe all Health & Safety requirements when carrying out enforcement activity
- Work in accordance with the Taking Control of Goods National Standards
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and provide feedback to management on operational efficiencies

About You
You will be an experienced and certified Enforcement Agent with an EA Certificate and Level 2 Taking Control of Goods Qualification, together with excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own time and travelling to addresses throughout your local area. You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical enforcement, understanding the importance of treating charge payers fairly, respectfully and with empathy.
