Location: Birmingham

Pay Rate: £16.63 per hour (incl. holidays)

Job Type: Temporary (Holiday Cover – July, approx. 1 week)

Shift & Schedule: 24‑hour support required during holiday period. Day shifts + sleep‑in nights. Dates to be confirmed (July).

Overview: Priority Recruitment are excited to present this rewarding Support Worker opportunity in Birmingham, supporting a male client with an acquired brain injury within his own home.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing companionship and structured support
  • Supporting with daily routines and activities
  • Encouraging independence and engagement
  • Following care plans and therapy guidance closely
  • Supporting community‑based activities (e.g. gym, volunteering, outings)
  • Building a positive and trusting relationship with the client
  • Ensuring consistency and stability during the family’s absence

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with brain injury (preferred)
  • Background in complex care or community support
  • Proactive, patient, and engaging personality
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and adapt to client needs
  • Confident following structured care and therapy plans
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (preferred)
