This is a community-based role supporting an 81-year-old female client within her own home following a serious accident earlier this year. The client lives with her husband and son in a well-kept, welcoming home environment and is looking for a supportive, friendly individual to assist her day-to-day.
We are looking for a compassionate and personable Support Worker who enjoys building relationships and providing meaningful companionship, alongside light practical support. This role would suit someone chatty, patient, and naturally caring.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting with light personal care (e.g. hair washing and drying)
- Encouraging mobility and independence
- Assisting with light household tasks
- Supporting with trips out (shops, parks, walks)
- Building a trusting and supportive relationship with the client
- Providing general company (e.g. conversation, spending time together over tea)
Successful Candidate:
- Must be female (genuine occupational requirement)
- Friendly, chatty, and able to build rapport easily
- Patient and understanding approach
- Confident supporting an elderly client in a home environment
- Excellent spoken English (first language preferred)
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred
- Ideally over 40+ to align with client preference
