JOB TYPE: 20 hours per week
SCHEDULE: Day/Evening shift
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain high standards of presentation of all services within the Harestane Hydro Pool.
- Ensure the safety of all users of the Hydro pool.
- Perform pool attendant duties.
- General cleaning duties within the hydro centre and surrounding areas.
- Poolside supervision of users to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with deliveries on site.
- Undertake duties related to events and functions layouts and supervision.
- Create a safe and hygienic environment within the workplace.
- Carry out 2 hourly pool water tests to ensure safe chemical levels and take appropriate action if necessary.
- Ensure all new visitors are aware of emergency evacuation procedures.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with customer enquiries and ensure their safe and enjoyable participation in activities.
- Set up and store all equipment used on site.
- Attend Pool Attendant training as required and maintain competence.
- Complete plant room pool test every morning.
- Backwash to be completed after the last client has vacated the pool.
- Vacuum the pool on a weekly basis.
- Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
- Holidays to be verified.
