We are looking for a motivated Support Worker to join our Night Shift team (44 hours per week, £13.60 per hour).
About the role:
Magdalen House provides person‑centred services to adults with a learning disability, including housing support, care at home and social care. As a Support Worker you will use your initiative and work confidently to support individuals and resources. Your duties will include personal care, participating actively as part of a team, and helping service users achieve their potential. You will work evening, weekend, and night shifts on a rota basis, requiring flexibility and adaptability. This role is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A PVG Scheme check will be required before a formal offer.
Qualifications:
- SVQ Level 2 (Care) or willingness to work towards qualification
- Driving licence preferable but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Caring nature
- Ability to work well as part of a team
