Leisure Attendant / Reception Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Reception & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage reception duties, including answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries.
- Handle bookings, appointments, and customer payments where required.
- Provide information regarding pool sessions, services, and facility rules.
- Facility Cleaning & Housekeeping
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hydrotherapy pool facility.
- Clean and sanitise changing rooms, showers, toilets, and communal areas.
- Wash down and disinfect baby changing facilities and equipment.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed and documented accurately.
- Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly.
- Pool Operations
- Carry out routine water quality testing in accordance with operational procedures.
- Monitor and record pool chemical levels and report any irregularities.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment for all pool users.
- Follow all health and safety, infection prevention, and hygiene procedures.

- Basic IT skills for reception and record-keeping duties.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a leisure, hospitality, healthcare, or customer service environment.
- Knowledge of pool plant operations and water testing procedures.
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
- Pool Plant Operator qualification (training may be provided for the right candidate).
