About the role

Prior + Partners has immediate opportunities for Urban Designers and Senior Urban Designers to take a leading role on UK focused housing and regeneration projects. Your workload will include a range of scales, from major regional frameworks to site level masterplans and development strategies. The ideal candidates will have a passion and commitment for the design and delivery of complex mixed-use developments, urban extensions and new communities.

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate skills and experiences in the following core areas:

  • UK Housing-led and mixed use masterplanning projects;
  • Place visions and strategic growth opportunities;
  • Successful outline planning applications;
  • Design coding at all scales;
  • Within project teams and working in multi-disciplinary environments.

The ideal candidates will also have:

  • An architectural background with RIBA Part 2 (or a masters in urban design), or a landscape architecture background with relevant qualification;
  • Excellent drawing and graphic presentation skills and the ability to explain design ideas and evolution of a concept;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent report writing abilities.
