You will be responsible for:
- Setting and operating folder-gluer machinery to produce cartons accurately and efficiently
- Completing machine make-readies and changeovers across a variety of carton styles and specifications
- Monitoring folds, glue application, alignment and overall carton quality throughout production runs
- Identifying machine or quality issues, making adjustments and minimising unnecessary downtime and waste
- Completing production documentation while maintaining excellent standards of safety, housekeeping and quality control
Key attributes required:
- Previous experience operating folder-gluer machinery within folding cartons, print or packaging
- Strong mechanical aptitude with confidence completing machine set-ups, adjustments and fault finding
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to producing consistently high-quality work
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to remain effective within a fast-paced production environment
- Positive team player who works effectively with production, quality and engineering colleagues
