As a digital press operative, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end digital printing process.

You will be responsible for the day to day running and maintaining of the print presses, ensuring quality and maximum output is achieved.

2-week rotational shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am).

Starting salary - £25,000

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain digital printing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Receive and review print job orders, understanding specifications and requirements.
  • Monitor print runs to identify and address any issues, ensuring smooth production processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure longevity and prevent downtime.
  • Manage and organize print materials, including loading and unloading paper and other supplies.
  • Conduct quality checks on printed materials to meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a secure and efficient working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Digital Print Operative or in a similar role within the printing industry preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift 20kg
