Print Point Group is a print and design company serving clients across Cumbria and the UK.

From its central head office in Carlisle, the team provides comprehensive design and print services, and branded merchandise.

With full in-house digital print facilities and a dedicated finishing department, the company offers end-to-end solutions, supported by resident graphic designers.

Services include digital and litho printing for items such as flyers, booklets, stationery, and large-format materials used by clients in sectors like architecture, law, construction, and retail.

The business operates Monday to Friday, 08:45–17:15, and emphasises quality, quick turnaround, and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and assist them with their printing and design requirements.
  • Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and card payments.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure orders are completed on time.
  • Follow up with customers regarding order status and collections.
  • Maintain product displays and keep the shop clean, organised, and well-presented.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service (printing industry experience is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn printing software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Driving License not essential, but is welcomed.
