Our client is a well-established and growing provider of high-quality label solutions to the premium drinks industry. With a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and service, they work with a wide range of leading distilleries and spirits brands across Scotland and the wider UK.
Due to continued growth within the drinks sector, our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business and manage key accounts within the spirits industry, particularly across Scotland’s thriving whisky and craft distilling markets.
The Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with distilleries and spirits brands, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored label solutions that meet both branding and regulatory requirements. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across Scotland to meet with clients and build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on distilleries and spirits brands across Scotland
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the whisky, gin, vodka, and wider spirits sector
- Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts
- Provide consultative sales support on label materials, finishes, and packaging solutions
- Work closely with internal production and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Track market trends and identify opportunities within the rapidly evolving spirits industry
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and achieve agreed revenue targets
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Candidate Profile
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within labels, packaging, print, or related sectors
- Strong knowledge of or connections within the spirits or drinks industry
- Experience selling into distilleries or drinks brands is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently
Package
- Basic salary of £60,000 - £80,000
