Job Title: Gluing Operator – Corrugated Sector

Job Type: Full-Time/Dayshift

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30-4:30, Friday 7:30-12:00

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Gluing Operator to join our team in the corrugated packaging industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed gluing machines to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality assembly of corrugated boxes and cartons.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor flatbed gluing machines to produce corrugated boxes according to specifications.
• Ensure proper application of adhesives, maintaining correct glue patterns and quantities.
• Check and prepare substrates, ensuring correct alignment and placement.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize glue adhesion, speed, and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring proper bonding, fit, and appearance.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the gluing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and workplace standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience operating flatbed gluing or similar adhesive application machinery, preferably in the corrugated sector.
• Basic understanding of adhesives, gluing techniques, and machinery safety.
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, specifications, and diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with corrugated box manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of different types of adhesives and their applications.
• Mechanical or technical training related to packaging machinery.
