Overview
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer & Signage Production Assistant to join our in-house team at West Hendon Broadway, NW9 7AA. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role ideal for someone who enjoys both digital design and physical signage production.
You\’ll be involved in everything from creating flyers, stickers, and signs to editing videos and designing content for websites and social media. If you\’re passionate about design, love variety, and want to grow in a creative business — we\’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Design graphics for print, web, and social media
- Create designs for flyers, banners, vehicle signage, number plates, and product packaging
- Edit short-form videos for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Help design and update website content (WordPress or similar platforms)
- Prepare artwork for large-format printing, vinyl cutting, and signage production
Signage & Production
- Assist with printing, cutting, laminating, and assembling signs (training provided)
- Operate and maintain in-house printers and cutters (Mimaki, plotters, etc.)
- Help with customer orders, in-house production tasks, and quality checks
- Occasionally assist with on-site signage fitting or installations (optional)
Skills & Requirements
Essential:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Interest in both digital design and hands-on production
- Willingness to learn signage tools and printing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and layout skills
- Fluent in English; good communication & teamwork skills
Desirable:
- Experience with vinyl cutting, signage, or number plate making
- Video editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut)
- Web design experience (WordPress, HTML/CSS basics)
- Driving licence (preferred, not required)
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in graphic design OR hands-on signage/print work
- Portfolio showing relevant design or branding work (student portfolios welcome)
- Familiarity with social media design trends is a plus
Salary
Final pay depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
