This is a technical delivery role reporting to the Interim CTO , focused on ensuring the platform is well architected, scalable, secure, integrated and fit for purpose.

You will work closely with our product teams, internal IT teams and external delivery partners to translate business and product needs into robust technical solutions, covering architecture, system design, API connectivity, web technologies, database technologies, infrastructure requirements, capacity planning and implementation oversight.

  • Assess infrastructure and non-functional requirements, including performance, capacity, availability, scalability, security, accessibility, monitoring, resilience, backup, recovery and supportability.
  • Lead technical delivery across internal teams, vendors and partners, ensuring solutions are implemented consistently, effectively and to the required quality.
  • Support technical discovery, options analysis and build‑versus‑buy decisions, providing recommendations on feasibility, risk, cost, complexity and long‑term maintainability.
  • Design and oversee integrations, APIs and data exchange between the platform and related technologies including Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Azure, identity management, data and reporting platforms, databases and web technologies.
  • Work with security, infrastructure and data teams to ensure appropriate controls for identity management, access, data protection, monitoring and operational support.
  • Establish and maintain technical standards, design principles and documentation to ensure platform changes remain controlled, supportable and sustainable.
  • Monitor platform performance, risks and issues, using operational insight to drive continuous improvement and optimisation.
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Work closely with product teams to understand roadmap priorities and ensure technical designs support current and future product needs.

Collaborate with internal IT teams, including data, infrastructure, Salesforce, security and service management, to ensure platform changes are coordinated and aligned.

  • Communicate technical options, decisions, risks and trade‑offs clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, supporting informed decision making.

  • Understanding the implications of industry and technology trends
  • Stay up to date with relevant platform, cloud, integration, API, identity management, web, database, data and infrastructure trends, applying this knowledge to improve technical decision making and hands‑on delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify the technical landscape, reduce duplication, improve resilience and increase the long‑term maintainability of the platform.
  • Supporting us work better together
  • Contribute to improving technical delivery processes, design documentation, implementation standards and ways of working across product and technology teams.
