Job Description

This is a hands‑on, cross‑channel role for someone who thrives on connecting the dots between SEO, email, paid channels, and social, translating data and insight into joined‑up strategy. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director and collaborate with channel specialists in the team to plan, optimise, and elevate our digital marketing output. It’s a varied role and you’ll be a go‑to expert, raising the bar on how we think about and execute digital marketing, while also being involved in project and stakeholder management and tackling some of the doing in a busy team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated digital marketing plans to support the PRI in achieving its goals that span web, email, paid channels, our podcast, and social, ensuring channels work together.
  • Translate business objectives into channel‑level tactics with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes, driving awareness, engagement or conversion.
  • Enhance the company’s output across rich media including podcasts and video, data visualisation and any emerging content formats.
  • Support with SEO and GEO strategy and website conversion rate optimisation to improve our member portal MyPRI and the PRI’s reach through LLMs.
  • Lead PRI’s email marketing calendar & strategy — improving our personalisation, optimisation and performance analysis.
  • Brief and review email and social content produced by the team, or create when needed, always ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Produce regular performance reports and present actionable insight to the Marketing Director.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithm updates, and industry trends – sharing the knowledge with the team.
  • Own our podcast schedule, liaising with teams across the organisation, and our agency to hit production timelines.
  • Provide excellent stakeholder and project management for core strategic projects.
  • Support the Marketing Director in delivering against the team’s business plan and budget – assessing new tools and software to support the team’s needs.
  • Contribute constructively to team collaboration, culture, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in a changing organisational context.
  • Demonstrate ways of working that are consistent with, and actively support, the PRI Culture Charter.
  • Can demonstrate a commitment to developing others and a growth mindset, actively pursuing continuous professional and personal development and opportunities to drive improvements in ways of working.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Five years of professional marketing experience, including significant time spent working with B2B or finance brands.
  • Advanced knowledge of PPC, paid social media and other paid channels and through‑the‑funnel reporting.
  • Proven experience across SEO, email marketing, social, web analytics and digital strategy - ideally in a similar cross‑channel role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (e.g. Semrush).
  • Experience in journey building and implementing an email strategy across email platforms, strong preference for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience of driving partnership marketing campaigns.
  • Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands‑on execution.
  • A natural collaborator who can work effectively with specialists without needing formal authority over them.
  • Strong and confident communicator – able to present clearly to Directors and the Executive Team and work practically with junior team members.
  • Self‑starter with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills.
  • A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others & committed to fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to developing others and a growth mindset, actively pursuing continuous professional and personal development.
