Job Description
Principal Customer Success Manager – Global Marketing
Salary: £90-100k + £25k bonus | 12-month contract (with potential to extend) | Hybrid (London, 3 days on-site)
One of the world’s most innovative and respected media-tech brands is seeking a Principal Customer Success Manager to join its Global Marketing division. This is a brilliant opportunity to work at the forefront of customer success, partnering with some of the biggest names in retail and helping them extract maximum value from cutting-edge marketing tools and initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of a small, high-value portfolio of 3–5 key retail clients, each investing between £2m–£20m annually. Acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior leaders, your role is to ensure they achieve tangible business results through the company’s suite of marketing solutions.
This is not a firefighting role — it’s about strategic partnership, influence at the highest levels, and ensuring customer success is seen as a value driver rather than a support function.
What we’re looking for
We’re after a seasoned Customer Success professional, ideally from a media, tech, or marketing background, who thrives on building deep, consultative relationships. To succeed here you’ll need:
- A proven track record in Customer Success Management at a senior, lead, or principal level, working with high-value enterprise accounts.
- Experience managing a small, focused portfolio of big-spending clients, delivering strategic guidance and measurable outcomes.
- Gravitas and communication skills to engage credibly with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for championing customer success and turning it into a competitive advantage for your clients.
What’s in it for you?
- A generous £80–85k salary plus a £25k annual bonus paid quarterly.
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week in state-of-the-art Reading offices, 2 from home.
- A chance to work with an iconic global brand, influencing major retail players at the highest level.
- An initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

If you’re a Principal CSM who thrives on working at a strategic level with top-tier clients, we’d love to hear from you. Send your CV (Word format preferred) today for immediate review.
