Senior Data Scientist - Propensity & Market Modelling
The role
A globally recognised technology company is growing its education segment - and data is at the heart of it. We need a hybrid Data Scientist who can build propensity models, size market opportunities, and engineer the pipelines to make it all work in production. This isn't a back-office analytics role. Your outputs go straight to senior leadership and drive sales strategy.
What you'll be doing
- Building an opportunity sizing model across K12, higher ed, and institutional markets
- Extending existing propensity models for the education segment
- Integrating third-party data sources into scalable, production-grade pipelines
- Presenting insights to senior commercial stakeholders
What you need
- Strong Python - the existing model suite is Python-heavy
- Advanced SQL - 5+ years, large complex datasets, Databricks a plus
- Proven propensity modelling experience - built and delivered, not just theoretical
- Genuine hybrid capability - data science and data engineering
- Confident communicator with non-technical stakeholders
Education sector experience is a bonus - but not a dealbreaker.
