A major global technology company is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to lead high-impact UX work across a mature product area, complex programme or emerging strategic initiative.

This role suits a senior designer who can move comfortably between product strategy, interaction design, design systems, research insight and stakeholder influence. You will shape design direction, build consensus across product and engineering partners, and turn user, business and technical constraints into thoughtful, scalable design solutions.

What You’ll Work On

  • Define and communicate UX and product design strategy across adjacent design efforts.
  • Create design specifications, prototypes, mock-ups and product models that guide implementation.
  • Use data, metrics, UX testing and stakeholder feedback to evaluate design impact and improve product outcomes.
  • Drive design-system, design-language or holistic design-process improvements across teams or products.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product and design stakeholders to build alignment and defend design rationale.
  • Apply user-centred methods, accessibility guidance, systems thinking and strong craft to solve complex product problems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong senior-level product design or UX design experience in a complex technology product environment.
  • Evidence of owning design outcomes for mature products, platforms, complex programmes or ambiguous new areas.
  • Depth in product design, interaction design, UX research methodology and product development lifecycle.
  • Confidence using data analysis, synthesis, user insight and metrics to inform design decisions.
  • A strong portfolio showing craft, systems thinking, stakeholder influence and business-aware design choices.
  • Clear communication, storytelling and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.

If you are a senior product designer who enjoys complex product challenges, cross-functional influence and design work that has to scale, this contract is worth a conversation.
