A global technology leader is hiring a Senior Ecommerce Trading & Merchandising Manager to join a high-performing Devices marketing organisation supporting direct-to-consumer ecommerce growth across EMEA markets. This role sits within a commercially focused ecommerce and trading function responsible for driving online sales performance across a portfolio of consumer technology products. You will work closely with commercial, sales, CRM, merchandising, and marketing teams to optimise the customer journey, improve conversion performance, and execute high-profile trading campaigns across owned ecommerce channels. This is not a traditional brand marketing role. The focus is ecommerce trading, digital merchandising, commercial performance, and direct-to-consumer sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive ecommerce trading and merchandising initiatives across owned digital channels
- Execute promotional campaigns tied to key trading moments including seasonal launches and retail events
- Partner with commercial and sales teams to improve online conversion and customer acquisition performance
- Support go-to-market launches for new consumer technology products
- Optimise onsite customer journeys, merchandising strategy, and promotional visibility
- Analyse trading performance, customer behaviour, and campaign KPIs to drive commercial recommendations
- Collaborate across regional teams covering UK and European markets
- Present insights, mitigation plans, and trading recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Balance customer experience with commercial performance objectives
Experience Required
- 6+ years experience within ecommerce, online trading, digital merchandising, or retail marketing
- Strong background within consumer electronics, retail, DTC, or ecommerce-led businesses
- Experience managing commercial campaigns across ecommerce platforms
- Strong understanding of trading calendars, promotional strategy, and online merchandising
- Highly commercial mindset with strong analytical capability
- Comfortable operating within matrixed global organisations
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience presenting trading insights and performance recommendations
- Background from brands such as Google, Samsung, Dyson, Sonos, Amazon, John Lewis, Currys, Fitbit, Meta, or similar environments is highly relevant
