We are hiring a Quality Analyst to join a leading global technology company working on a large-scale social VR and gaming platform.

This is a hands-on QA position supporting a mature, live consumer product across VR, mobile and Windows desktop environments. You will act as a key quality owner, running weekly build verification and regression testing and ensuring issues are identified and clearly communicated before releases reach users.

This role is particularly suited to someone from a gaming, VR/AR, interactive product or large-scale consumer application background who enjoys hands-on testing and has excellent attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

  • Run weekly smoke, regression and end-to-end testing across release and canary builds
  • Test products across VR, mobile and Windows desktop platforms
  • Verify builds and provide clear go/no-go release recommendations
  • Reproduce crashes, stability issues and performance regressions
  • Produce highly detailed bug reports with clear, repeatable reproduction steps
  • Test mobile applications, including Android devices
  • Sideload builds and capture device logs using ADB/logcat
  • Test interactive experiences including social, multiplayer and user-generated content
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases and release checklists
  • Triage bugs, assess severity and work closely with engineering teams
  • Identify patterns and opportunities to improve existing testing processes

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years' professional QA/software testing experience
  • Background testing games, VR/AR, interactive products or large-scale consumer applications
  • Strong hands-on mobile testing experience
  • Experience testing Android-based devices
  • Experience sideloading builds and using ADB/logcat
  • Strong regression, smoke and release testing experience
  • Excellent bug reporting and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to provide precise, repeatable reproduction steps
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test cases
  • Comfortable taking ownership and working independently within fixed release schedules

Nice to have

  • VR application or headset testing experience
  • Experience with Unity
  • Multiplayer, social or UGC platform testing
  • Cloud gaming/application streaming
  • Performance and memory profiling
  • Python or test automation exposure
  • Live-service/Live Ops experience

Why this role?

You'll work across VR, mobile and Windows platforms, with exposure to emerging capabilities including GenAI. The position provides direct product impact-you'll effectively act as the final human quality check on builds before they reach production-and considerable autonomy over the testing process.
