A leading global technology organisation is seeking an experienced EMEA Global Payroll Specialist to join its international payroll team. This position offers the opportunity to support payroll operations across a broad EMEA region, working within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment supporting thousands of employees across multiple countries.
This role is ideal for payroll professionals who enjoy working in complex multinational environments and have a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, process improvement and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities- Process end-to-end payroll across multiple EMEA countries.
- Partner with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.
- Support payroll operations across countries including the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, South Africa and others.
- Manage payroll reconciliations and statutory payments.
- Ensure payroll compliance with local legislation and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits including SOX controls.
- Respond to employee payroll enquiries and provide exceptional customer support.
- Maintain payroll documentation, procedures and knowledge articles.
- Drive payroll process improvements, automation initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Produce payroll reporting and performance metrics.
- Support payroll projects, system implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external payroll partners.
- 3+ years' multinational payroll experience within a large international organisation.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA payroll legislation, compliance and statutory requirements.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
- Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations and audit requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing multiple deadlines within a high-volume environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Workday HRIS experience.
- UKG and/or iiPay experience.
- ServiceNow experience.
- Payroll automation and integration experience.
- Knowledge of equity payroll including RSUs, ESPP and stock options.
- Additional European language skills.
