Business Analyst - Market Strategy

  • 12-month contract
  • Hybrid 3 days per week in London
  • Salary is Β£80,000 per year

We are recruiting a Business Analyst - Market Strategy for a global technology company whose video platform supports a large and fast-moving creator ecosystem across Europe. You will conduct deep-dive market analysis across the UK, Germany and France, monitor ecosystem performance and growth, and convert complex data into recommendations that shape European market strategy. This is a visible role for an analyst who is equally comfortable writing complex SQL, building interactive dashboards and explaining what the evidence means for the business.

What you will do:

  • Lead market and performance analyses that inform strategy across three major European markets.
  • Track creator-ecosystem health, growth trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Write complex SQL independently and build data sets from source data.
  • Create interactive dashboards that make performance drivers and strategic trade-offs clear.
  • Turn findings into concise, decision-ready narratives for leadership.
  • Evaluate market and product opportunities and support strategic analysis with minimal guidance.

What you will bring:

  • Advanced SQL, including independently structuring complex queries and pulling data sets from scratch.
  • Strong interactive dashboard and data-visualisation experience.
  • Experience applying analytics to market strategy, business performance or a scaled digital ecosystem.
  • Sound statistical judgement, metric-design capability and data-quality awareness.
  • Strong business storytelling and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Availability to work from the London office three days per week.
