Principal Resourcing is currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support schools and academies throughout Hull and Humberside.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during the absence of the usual teacher, ensuring students remain engaged, productive and focused on their learning. No marking. No planning. No taking work home. Just the opportunity to engage students, support learning, and make a difference every day.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supervising students while their regular teacher is unavailable
- Delivering pre-planned lesson activities and instructions
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students to complete assigned work
- Responding to student questions and providing guidance where appropriate
- Monitoring engagement and ensuring pupils stay on task
- Collecting completed work and providing feedback to teaching staff
- Creating a positive and productive learning environment
- A professional, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
- Confidence, inclusivity, and a genuine passion for supporting pupil development.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure, or willingness to apply for one through us.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship).
- Experience with children and young people
- Full UK Driving license would be very advantageous but not a requirment
