Are you a confident Teacher of Business seeking a new challenge in the Pontefract area? Here at Principal Resourcing, we have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and friendly Teacher of Business to join one of our welcoming Sixth Form Colleges from August 2025. You will deliver exceptional A-level and Level 3 Business lessons, ensuring students actively engage in learning and feel suitably supported to progress and build confidence in the subject. There may be an opportunity to expand your role across the Accounting and Economics Department if you have prior experience or an interest in this area.

The College based in Pontefract (WF8) caters for A-level, BTEC and GCSE resit students allowing a supportive and welcoming educational environment where staff and students work in partnership. You will become part of an ambitious staff team, making a real difference to the education and aspirations of young people in the local community. The position will be on a full-time basis; however, applications are welcomed from part-time candidates seeking a job share opportunity.

We welcome applications from experienced Teachers; you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience. We are seeking a Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK; unfortunately, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
