Overview
Principal Resourcing is partnering with primary schools and academies seeking Secondary Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Opportunities are available for both flexible, day-to-day cover and longer-term roles, reflecting the growing demand for Teaching Assistants who can provide tailored support to learners with a wide range of needs. We welcome applications from qualified and experienced Primary Teaching Assistants, as well as individuals with transferable skills and relevant experience who are eager to transition into education. Through Principal Resourcing’s Get into the Classroom programme, those with transferable skills are offered a clear pathway to begin a rewarding new career in education.
Responsibilities
Support students with Special Educational Needs in classroom and related activities. Assist with day-to-day classroom tasks and adapt support to learners\\\’ needs as directed by teachers.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience working with SEN in any capacity.
- Experience supporting children in settings such as residential care, youth work, sports coaching, or similar roles.
- Willingness to transition into education and pursue a role as a Teaching Assistant.
