Principal Resourcing are working alongside a range of primary schools and academies across Scarborough seeking SEMH specialist Teaching Assistants. There is currently a huge requirement for Teaching Assistants to work in Enhanced Resource Provisions, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We have work available immediately for both day-to-day and longer-term positions. Full-time availability is preferable although not essential.

We are recruiting for Teaching Assistants who ideally, but do not necessarily hold a Teaching Assistant qualification. Most importantly, the candidates we are seeking should have an empathetic, compassionate approach and have experience in some capacity working with children. In-house, free-of-charge training will be offered to tool the right candidates up for the position.

Essential role pre-requisites:
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
