Do you have experience covering lessons in the Teachers absence?We are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Primary Cover Supervisor to join the staff team at one of our welcoming Academy Schools from September 2025.You will ideally have previous experience delivering a range of Primary subjects in the teachers short-term absence and be confident managing classroom behaviour. The position is full-time and will initially be on a fixed term basis for one academic year to meet the needs of the school.The vibrant Academy School based in Bradford (BD12), caters for students aged 3-16 years. They are proud to offer a challenging and rewarding curriculum experience that ensures all students thrive and build confidence in a range of subjects. You will join a welcoming staff team, working in collaboration to ensure consistent, high quality learning that meets the diverse needs of children within your care.You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, depending on experience.The successful candidate will:
- Be prepared to deliver lessons for the year group they are covering (lesson will be planned by the class teacher)
- Assist/support students with tasks as needed
- Be confident in providing detailed and regular feedback to the class teacher
- Be able to effectively manage behaviour
- Be resourceful, creative, and imaginative with fantastic communication skills
- Show initiative and the ability to respond calmly to a variety of situations
- In an emergency, be able to think of activities to occupy the class until work is set
We are seeking candidates with:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar.
- ECT\’s are welcome to apply.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
