Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Principal Resourcing are working with a secondary academy based in Grimsby to source a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to start in January 2025 on a full-time, temporary basis. As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. The successful candidate will be working for a rapidly expanding academy which is heading towards outstanding. Their student numbers are increasing year by year and they are the highest performing academy in North East Lincolnshire. Role pre-requisites: * A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. * Confidence, inclusive, and passion for supporting pupil progression. * Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum. * An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us. * Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
