We have a wonderful opportunity for a confident and organised Learning Supervisor to join the staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools from September 2025.

The full-time role is expected to become permanent for the right applicant and will provide effective classroom supervision in the Teachers short-term absence, for pupils across key stage 3/4 subjects. You will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities and maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress to feedback to the teacher.

The Secondary School based in WF8 is parr of the Pontefract Trust, providing an engaging and exciting educational experience for students aged 11-16. They offer a great place to work and thrive as part of a passionate staff team, encouraging positive wellbeing and a strong support network.

You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.

The School are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

  • has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.
  • has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
  • has experience of working in a similar specialist area.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • GCSE Grade C/4 and above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Experience of working with young people at KS 3/4.
  • Ability to adapt to different abilities, key stages, subjects and situations.
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
