The role
You'll teach a small class of children who need warmth, consistency and clear boundaries to thrive.
- Plan and teach personalised lessons across the primary curriculum
- Build trusting relationships with children who have found school difficult
- Use clear routines and positive behaviour strategies to help children manage their emotions
- Work with support staff, leaders and therapists towards each child's Education, Health and Care Plan goals
- Keep families involved and share every bit of progress with them
What you must bring
- Qualified Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills
- Experience teaching children with social, emotional and mental health needs or challenging behaviour
- A calm, relational approach to behaviour
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Full time availability, Monday to Friday
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application
- Two references and the right to work in the UK

- Paid on the Outer London teacher pay scale, Main to Upper Pay Range depending on experience, paid weekly
