Support worker or carer for autistic adults? Your experience could take you into education, with daytime hours, term time only and training you won't get anywhere else.
Principal Education is a recruitment agency working on behalf of a specialist Post 19 provision in Wandsworth, run by an established autism charity. It supports young adults aged 19 to 25 with autism and communication needs, and every learner has an Education, Health and Care Plan. The approach is built on Applied Behaviour Analysis, and learners spend around half their week in the community, learning the skills they need for work and independent living.
This is support work with purpose: helping a young adult catch the bus on their own for the first time, order their own lunch, or turn up to a work placement ready to go.

- Follow individual learning programmes with training and guidance from experienced behaviour specialists
- Help learners develop travel, cooking, money and workplace skills

- Team Teach training, or willingness to complete it
- Patience, resilience and respect for the people you support

Pay and benefits
- Β£110 to Β£130 per day depending on experience, paid weekly
- Term time only, with no nights or weekends
