Cover Supervisors Needed for FLEXIBLE Work Across East London & Essex
Principal Education is looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Havering, Brentwood, Thurrock, Basildon, Barking & Dagenham .
These are flexible daily supply opportunities , giving you the choice to work around your availability, with opportunities for longer-term placements also available.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a positive, safe and productive learning environment.
You won't be expected to plan lessons, but you'll play an important role in supporting students' learning, behaviour and engagement.
What You MUST demonstrate:
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence working with secondary-aged students
- Ability to support pupils with SEN
- Calm, adaptable and confident approach
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Overseas police clearance if you have lived abroad for 6+ months in the last 5 years
- Based in or within a commutable distance of East London or Essex
