Principal Education is seeking hard-working and enthusiastic educators to work as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in special needs schools across London. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on children's academic and social development.
The role
As an LSA, you will support children with statemented special needs, working either 1:1 or in small groups. You will collaborate closely with teachers to create a safe and inclusive learning environment, providing consistency and support that fosters positive outcomes. These roles typically require full-time availability (Monday-Friday).
What you MUST demonstrate
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and behavioural challenges
- Patience, empathy, composure, and diligence
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Recent enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Overseas police clearance if lived abroad for 6+ months in last 5 years
- Based in London or within a commutable distance
