This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging Drama lessons that encourage creativity, confidence and performance skills.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs with a genuine passion for Drama education.

The Role

  • Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire creativity and achievement.
  • Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to support learning.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular Drama productions and wider Performing Arts activities where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-established department.

Qualifications

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Drama in a UK secondary school.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Has strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for Performing Arts.
  • Is committed to raising attainment and supporting students of all abilities, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
