About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Insurance Surveyor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting property inspections, assessing damage, evaluating risks, and producing detailed reports to support insurance claims and underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections and surveys for insurance claims and risk assessments.
  • Assess property damage and prepare detailed reports.
  • Prepare scopes of work and repair recommendations.
  • Evaluate repair costs and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Gather photographic evidence and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Insurance Surveyor, Building Surveyor, Loss Adjuster, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction and insurance claims processes.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience using scoping and estimating software such as Xactimate and Estimator is a significant advantage.
  • Experience preparing schedules of work and repair cost estimates.
  • Knowledge of property restoration and reinstatement projects.
