Are you looking to cut your teeth in a truly global organisation where sustainability is more than just a tick-box exercise? We’re partnering with a profitable global manufacturing and distribution business, operating across 22 sites worldwide, to appoint an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor into a growing, forward-thinking EHS function. This is a hands-on and strategic role, offering genuine exposure to global stakeholders, senior leadership, and the opportunity to shape environmental performance across an international operation.
Location: Walsall (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days from home)
The Role
Reporting directly into the Global EHS Director, and working alongside a Global EHS Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving environmental and sustainability initiatives across the business. This role blends strategy with delivery — ideal for someone who enjoys owning data, solving problems, and influencing others.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support environmental and sustainability initiatives across the organisation
- Measure, manage and report on Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
- Own and develop the company’s greenhouse gas and carbon footprint data
- Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of ISO 14001
- Prepare environmental data for customer and shareholder platforms
- Support the wider EHS strategy with practical, pragmatic solutions
- Work collaboratively with site teams and global stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related discipline
- Working knowledge and experience of ISO 14001
- Background in manufacturing or distribution
- Minimum 18 months’ experience in an environmental-focused role
- Confident with environmental data, reporting, and greenhouse gas calculations
- A motivated, engaging and solutions-focused individual with a pragmatic mindset
