Join Our Team as a Recruitment Consultant! Are you an experienced 360 recruitment professional with expertise in permanent or contract recruitment and a passion for sourcing top talent? Principal People is looking for an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant to manage the full recruitment lifecycle across one of these desks: Quality Assurance, Built Environment, or Environmental Sustainability.

About the Role As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:
- Manage the entire 360 recruitment lifecycle, from job qualification to post-placement care, with a focus on contract roles.
- Specialise in Quality Assurance, Built Environment, or Environment & Sustainability, working with clients who are shaping the future of these industries.
- Drive business development by building new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
What You’ll Do Business Development:
- Identify and engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Build long-term partnerships with organisations in Quality Assurance, Built Environment or Environment and Sustainability.
- Research market trends to tailor recruitment strategies to client needs and highlight new opportunities.
- Create and hit your own KPIs for new client acquisition, placements, and revenue.
Recruitment Lifecycle:
- Collaborate with clients to understand detailed job requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Source top talent through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and proactive headhunting techniques.
- Pre-screen and shortlist candidates, ensuring they meet technical and cultural requirements.
- Manage the interview process, provide candidate preparation, and deliver structured feedback.
Placement and Post-Placement Care:
- Negotiate offers, address counteroffer risks, and guide candidates through onboarding.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and candidates, ensuring smooth placements.
- Conduct post-placement check-ins at key intervals to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
What We’re Looking For:
- Sector Expertise: Proven experience recruiting within Quality Assurance, Built Environment, or Environment and Sustainability industries. Experience within this sector is not essential, however any experience would be desirable.
- Recruitment Experience: A strong track record of success in a 360 recruitment role, ideally working for an agency for a prolonged period.
- Business Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and secure new clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of IR35 compliance, contractor management, and UK recruitment regulations.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Bullhorn, JobAdder) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
