We’re looking for an Environmental Advisor to join a leading organisation specialising in Major Civil Engineering projects, working on a significant, high‑profile project in the UK that uses unique construction methods never seen before. The role will support compliance, drive sustainability initiatives, and protect the unique coastal and marine environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing expert environmental advice on ecology, pollution prevention and sustainability.
• Developing and implementing environmental management and sustainability plans.
• Managing permits and licences, including MMO and ecology mitigation.
• Carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Delivering toolbox talks, training and stakeholder engagement.
• Supporting innovation in marine and civil engineering methods.

What We’re Looking For

• NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (minimum)
• Degree in Environmental Science/Management/Engineering (ideally)
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and practical compliance.
• Hands‑on experience in construction or infrastructure projects (marine experience highly desirable).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
