Principal People are currently working on behalf of a well-established and highly reputable food manufacturing organisation who are looking for an Interim Health and Safety Manager to assist over the next 6 months on one of their UK locations in South Wales near to Newport. This role will be responsible for site based operational duties as well as overall guidance and advice to the site and management teams at this location amongst other managerial responsibilities.
They are looking for a strong communicator who is happy to work a site based role and this is to pay a day rate of between £350-425/day. Any accommodation required would need to be covered within the day rate provided.
Below are the essential criteria for this contract:
- NEBOSH General Certificate minimum
- Hold strong experience in the Manufacturing sector (Food manufacturing is desirable but not essential)
- Be happy to work a site based position – 5 days a week
- Be available to start immediately or with short notice
- Be an engaging, strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
