Are you a Sustainability Manager with an infrastructure background looking for a highly strategic, impactful role offering the chance to lead implementation of sustainability strategy for a rapidly expanding contractor?

Are you looking for a seat at the leadership table of a company that is looking to double headcount, with the intention you will grow a team around you to progress into Head of Sustainability whilst having ample opportunities to continually professionally develop?

The business are an infrastructure contractor working alongside some of the biggest names in the energy, transport and civil engineering sectors – they work on schemes of varying size and scale, some valued up to £200m in value. Having made recent acquisitions, they are in a phase of rapid sustainable profit, order book and headcount growth – particularly within the sustainability team.

This is a diverse, strategic, challenging and impactful role where you will be responsible for devising and implementing the business’ sustainability strategy, including setting out procedures, reporting and setting KPIs to support project teams., Implement Sustainability Strategy, including procedures, communications and reporting and culture towards sustainability in the business

Manage a small team and progress ultimately into Head of Sustainability

Oversee the implementation of EMS and relevant systems

Occasional travel to locations across the UK

£65,000 – £70,000 + circa £5,000 Car allowance or Car + CPD + Progression + Subsidised Private Medical + Pension The Person

Experience in infrastructure

Working knowledge of relevant ISO standards, ESOS and PAS 2080

Driving license
