Are you an experienced sustainability leader looking to influence environmental strategy at senior level within a growing organisation? We are working with a well-established and expanding organisation seeking to appoint a Head of Sustainability. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s environmental strategy while ensuring sustainability is embedded across the business.
Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, this role will operate at a strategic level while also supporting operational teams to improve environmental performance across multiple sites. The role will be based at the organisation’s headquarters near Maidstone, with travel across the South East with occasional home working.

What you will be doing:
- Leading the development and delivery of the organisation’s sustainability and environmental strategy

- Ensuring environmental compliance across operational sites and activities
- Embedding sustainability principles into operational and commercial decision making
- Supporting the organisation as it continues to grow and expand geographically
What we are looking for:
- Senior leadership experience within sustainability, environmental management, or ESG
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and operating at board level
- A track record of delivering environmental improvements within operational environments
- Strategic thinking with a pragmatic and hands-on approach
- A CSCS card would be advantageous, although support can be provided to obtain this if required for site visits.
