An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading national property services organisation delivering responsive repairs, refurbishment, retrofit and planned maintenance works within the social housing sector.

This role will suit an engaging and operationally focused Health & Safety professional who enjoys being visible across contracts, working closely with frontline teams and driving positive behavioural culture. The organisation operates across multiple long-term local authority contracts and has an excellent reputation within the sector for quality, standards and operational delivery. This is a highly operational role supporting housing maintenance and refurbishment activities across London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting operational audits and inspections
  • Supporting site teams and operational management
  • Driving positive H&S culture across contracts
  • Supporting contractor management and onboarding
  • Supporting competency and compliance improvements
  • Assisting with incident investigations
  • Delivering visible operational leadership
  • Supporting operational teams across multiple contracts
  • Reviewing RAMS and compliance documentation

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Experience within social housing, property services, hard FM or Refurbishment/Fit Out
  • NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent qualification
  • Strong auditing and operational inspection experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working within fast-paced operational environments
  • Happy to be in London five days a week

Desirable but not essential experience includes:

  • Responsive repairs
  • Planned maintenance
  • Refurbishment
  • Retrofit / decarbonisation projects
