Building Safety Manager role at Principal People.
This is a pivotal role within the client’s growing Operational Building Safety Team, offering the chance to lead on compliance with the Building Safety Act across a defined property portfolio. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, manage a small technical team, and take the lead on Building Safety Case Reports, fire safety, and structural reviews.
We’ve placed several professionals across Health & Safety and Fire Safety functions, and the feedback has been positive, with a collaborative culture and work-life balance.

Responsibilities
- Lead on compliance with the Building Safety Act for a defined property portfolio.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and manage a small technical team.
- Manage Building Safety Case Reports, fire safety reviews, and structural reviews.
What we’re looking for
- A strong background in operational building safety.
- Knowledge of fire systems, M&E, and specialist safety installations.
- Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, including residents.
- Level 4 qualification (or working towards) in Building Safety.
- Full UK driving licence and daily access to a vehicle.
