Health and Safety Business Partner - £60,000 - £65,000 + Package - Residential Construction - East Anglia

We're working with a growing residential construction business that's looking to appoint a Health and Safety Business Partner to support its East Anglia & Northern Home Counties region.

This isn't a traditional Health and Safety Advisor role. Site inspections are carried out by an external specialist provider. Your focus will be on understanding the findings, working alongside operational teams and senior leaders, and coaching them to improve performance before issues arise. You'll be a trusted business partner, helping embed accountability and create a proactive Health and Safety culture across the region.

You'll work across regional offices and live projects, partnering with everyone from Site Managers through to senior leadership. It's measured by your ability to influence people, challenge thinking, coach managers and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and influence managers at all levels to improve Health and Safety performance
  • Drive proactive conversations from the earliest stages of developments
  • Review inspection findings with the external Health and Safety provider and identify root causes rather than symptoms
  • Support accident investigations and share lessons learned across the business
  • Act as the link between the regional business and the external Health and Safety inspection provider

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or be working towards it
  • Strong coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills
