We are excited to have been exclusively retained by the Liverpool Experience Campus to recruit a Senior Health and Safety Manager to the established team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting and fast-paced organisation in a varied and hands-on role.

If you’re looking for a job where no two days are the same, then look no further. The Liverpool Experience Campus is home to three venues plus a hotel on their modern waterfront location at the heart of the city, hosting hundreds of events and thousands of visitors every year.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll be a core part of a dedicated and safety-focused team, leading and championing Health and Safety across the business. Olympic sports, global music artists, and political party conferences; the Liverpool Experience Campus is here delivering the highest quality events and represents the passion and quality of the city.

The focus of this role is to:

  • Champion a positive and proactive safety culture across the company
  • Manage the Health and Safety Business Partner and collaborate across all teams from catering to security
  • Ensure a high level of safety and compliance across all areas of the business
  • Provide advice on legislation and lead on Health, Safety, Quality and compliance related changes and innovations where appropriate
  • Carry out internal training and support as the business opens their own training academy to conduct IOSH courses externally
  • As the subject matter expert, support team managers to ensure safety processes and responsibilities are followed
  • Lead on food safety, including developing the management system and HACCP plans

The successful candidate will have:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification is preferred
  • Experience or a qualification in food safety is highly desirable
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and operational environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with public safety is also desirable

This role is offering a salary between £63,000 and £70,000 depending on experience plus 22% local government based pension, medicash scheme, employee rewards and wellbeing support, and a unique opportunity to join a stimulating business in a rewarding and autonomous role.
