Principal People are excited to be working exclusively with a growing organisation who are looking to appoint a Regional Health and Safety Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environmental professional to take ownership of a multi-site role, driving both cultural change and continuous improvement across multiple locations. The successful candidate will join a market leading business that is growing steadily and places health, safety and environmental at the heart of its operations. This is an on-site, operationally focused role with the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders.

The key duties include:

  • Leading and driving cultural change across health, safety and environment.
  • Managing HSE compliance across the sites.
  • Ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining safety action plans and compliance programmes.
  • Managing accident, incident and near-miss reporting, ensuring thorough investigation and follow-up.
  • Able to embed a proactive safety culture across the business.
  • Being visible and operational throughout the locations and champion behavioural safety.

We would love to see CVs from people who have NEBOSH General certificate (Diploma is preferred), experience within a higher risk industry sector such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Waste and Recycling, Engineering etc., experience within an operational safety environment, and someone who's collaborative who can communicate well, is personable with drive and resilience.
