Are you an experienced Compliance / Building Safety professional who thrives on making a real impact? We are working with a well-established Social Housing organisation looking for an Interim Head of Compliance / Building Safety to support the organisation in compliance and building safety matters.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week at their South West London Head Office and homeworking. You will manage a small team of direct reports within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly leadership meetings
- Manage a small team of 5 direct reports
- Review and update compliance data
- Oversee budget spending
- Take overall responsibility for the big 6 compliance areas
- Liaise with internal management teams regarding compliance and building safety
- Coordinate with external contractors on compliance issues
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree level qualification in a relevant field (preferred)
- Senior-level experience in compliance within the housing sector or a closely related field
- Experience with the Big 6 compliance areas
- Proven experience managing teams of direct reports
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels
