Interim Head of Compliance and Building Safety

Are you an experienced Compliance / Building Safety professional who thrives on making a real impact? We are working with a well-established Social Housing organisation looking for an Interim Head of Compliance / Building Safety to support the organisation in compliance and building safety matters.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week at their South West London Head Office and homeworking. You will manage a small team of direct reports within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in monthly leadership meetings
2. Manage a small team of 5 direct reports
3. Review and update compliance data
4. Oversee budget spending
5. Take overall responsibility for the big 6 compliance areas
6. Liaise with internal management teams regarding compliance and building safety
7. Coordinate with external contractors on compliance issues

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree level qualification in a relevant field (preferred)
• Senior-level experience in compliance within the housing sector or a closely related field
• Experience with the Big 6 compliance areas
• Proven experience managing teams of direct reports
• Strong communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels
