Health and Safety Advisor

The company are looking for a Health and Safety Manager and the position will consist of managing Health and Safety and Environmental matters for the sites that have been well-established in the area for many years. The role will be very operational and will involve a lot of ‘hands-on’ HSE Advice throughout the site teams. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) who are all incredibly engaged towards Health and Safety. We would love to see CVs from people who have: A NEBOSH General Certificate A Manufacturing and Industrial Background will be preferred Experience with working with all aspects of HSE Why you should apply for the role?: You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, and you will be exposed to different risks The business is very supportive towards HSE, and Safety is one of their core values The company have always had a focus on personal development and progression and has recently promoted a number of the safety team into more senior roles The business is a market leader within their field The full SLT are incredibly engaged within HSE and are keen to make a difference The company have an impressive retention rate of staff members due to the great culture the SLT has installed The key duties include: Offering appropriate advice and support to the site teams within Health and Safety and Environmental Matters Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety To carry out operational Health and Safety duties such as risk assessments, method statements and accident investigations on the sites Managing the Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental for the whole location Creating positive relationships with the site teams to help improve the HSE Culture across the region Conducting site safety training and compiling safety data
